Marathon Training Week 12 of 18

Monday

Rest day!

Tuesday

18km with 6x600m. My first foray into speedwork since the ankle injury. Unsurprisingly, I was a lot slower than I’d hoped to be. I’d forgotten how awesome it feels after a speedy workout though!

Thursday

13km, pushing the speed a little bit. I felt good!

Friday

Just a cloudy, chill, 8km! Getting all packed up for Boston to support Jon!

Saturday

13km in Boston, just after we checked into the hotel. I chose a gorgeous loop around the river, passing through the Boston Common. I saw so many strong looking runners doing a pre-race shakeout. I even passed Canadian Reid Coolsaet, which was a bit of a minor celebrity moment!
